Ride Anchorage’s Moose Loop with a local guide, exploring greenbelt trails and watching for wildlife along the way.

About this tour

See Anchorage from the saddle on a ride through the city’s remarkable network of paved and multi-use trails. The Chester Creek, Tony Knowles Coastal, and Campbell Creek trails connect to form the Moose Loop, a route whose shape resembles a moose head on a map.

Ride beyond the usual city sights and experience Anchorage’s greenbelt like a local, with a guide leading the way. Keep an eye out for moose, black bears, and bald eagles; on occasion, a beluga whale may appear along the route. A hybrid bike, helmet, cycling gloves, bottled water, snacks, and downtown pickup and drop-off are provided. This is a standard bike tour, not an e-bike ride, and moderate fitness is recommended.

Join this Anchorage Greenbelt Bike Tour to explore the trails and wildlife that make the city distinctive. Meet your guide outside the Dena'ina Convention Center and discover Anchorage by bike.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 5 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Anchorage
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.4. Top 47% in Anchorage means it ranks in the top 47% of tours in Anchorage by this score.
