Explore Anchorage through creative clues, hidden gems, and challenges with a live remote host guiding your team by phone.

About this tour

Turn Anchorage into a playful puzzle with a scavenger hunt that blends sightseeing, creative challenges, and a little friendly competition. A live remote host guides your team by phone as you follow clues and discover hidden gems, local art, history, and culture.

Start outside in front of the designated starting location, then work together to interpret clues and complete challenges for points. The experience is designed to let you explore at your own pace and make the hunt your own, with a digital scavenger hunt document and support from your host. Your team can also appear on the international leaderboard, where you can compare your score with teams in other cities. You can extend the hunt for free if you want more time to play.

For the smoothest start, provide a working domestic phone number when booking and bring a fully charged smartphone with GPS and messaging capabilities. If you use an international number or run into technical issues, the game can be completed through WhatsApp or email. Set out to see Anchorage from a fresh perspective and turn your time in the city into a memorable team adventure.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Anchorage
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1.
