Explore 12 eastern U.S. national park routes with GPS-triggered audio stories, offline access, and the freedom to travel at your own pace.

About this tour

Explore the eastern United States on your own terms with a bundle of 12 GPS-guided audio tours. From Acadia and Shenandoah to the Smoky Mountains, Everglades, Hot Springs, and Cuyahoga Valley, the routes pair scenic drives with local stories and suggested stops. The bundle also features Asheville, Cades Cove, Clingmans Dome, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which the provider reports is temporarily closed.

Download the Tour Guide app by Action and your tours before setting out. Then follow the mapped route as GPS-triggered audio plays automatically, with no live guide or group schedule. Stop for hikes, photos, or picnics, resume whenever you like, and listen offline once the tours are downloaded. One purchase covers everyone in your car, and lifetime access lets you revisit the stories and route details on future trips. Bring your own vehicle and phone; attraction admission, parking, food, and car rental are not included.

Make the journey your own: choose a route, take the scenic stops that appeal to you, and discover more of the East at your pace.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
