Hilo Volcano, Waterfall, Plants and Beach Tour 6 hr

Explore Hilo’s volcanic landscapes, waterfalls and coastline on a 375-minute shore excursion. Walk across lava fields to see peacock lava and other formations, then venture through a lava tube and pause at a crater overlook and steam vents. The route also includes time for shopping, waterfalls and Black Sand Beach, offering a varied look at the island’s natural scenery and local stops.

Travel between locations in an air-conditioned vehicle, with an English-speaking guide. The tour is offered on Tuesdays and on days when a ship is in Hilo Harbor. Meet inside the building on the left and look for the Hawaii Volcano Tours sign. The Rainbow Waterfalls entrance fee is not included, so plan for that additional cost if applicable.
