Solve riddles, find objects, and tackle three app-based quests as a remote host guides your two-hour scavenger hunt around Buffalo.

About this tour

Explore Buffalo one riddle at a time in this app-based scavenger hunt. The 3Quest Challenge turns a city walk into a playful search for objects and points, with a remote host following along virtually to offer help when needed.

Use the app to solve clues, find the listed objects, and take on fun challenges. The game unfolds across three quests, which you complete in order. Earn points as you go, then check your score against other players on the app leaderboard. The activity lasts two hours, giving you time to explore at your own pace while keeping the challenge moving. You can also set a personal time limit to add extra urgency.

Bring your own smartphone to play; private transportation is not included. Before starting, watch for a message with instructions. Set out to discover Buffalo through clues, challenges, and a little friendly competition.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.00 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Buffalo
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
