Cruise the Columbia River on a Wenatchee jet boat ride with Rocky Reach Dam views, playful turns, and a thrilling Hamilton Spin.
About this tour
Trade the usual river cruise for a lively ride on the Columbia River. This Wenatchee Jet Boat Ride pairs scenic views with playful turns and a quick-spinning Hamilton Spin, all aboard a boat piloted by a U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain.
Depart from the Day Moorage dock at Wenatchee Riverfront Park and cruise toward Rocky Reach Dam, with views of the US 2 Bridge along the way. The route also passes the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers. Expect a mix of relaxed cruising, fish-tail turns, and a few spins; this is a sightseeing and amusement ride, not a whitewater trip or narrated eco-tour. The listed ride time is 45 minutes, though river conditions can affect the duration.
The Wenatchee Jet Boat Ride includes required safety equipment and fuel. You may get wet, so bring a towel and a change of clothes, and keep valuables to a minimum. An optional media package offers photos and a video clip. Sign the online waiver before arrival and allow time to find the dock. Book your ride for a fresh perspective on Wenatchee’s river scenery, with a little extra motion along the way.

This tour scores 4.83 on Viator and 5.00 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.
How the score works and rating distribution in Chelan
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3.
