Ride Chicago’s Lakefront Trail past iconic landmarks and skyline views on an electric bike tour with a guide, snacks, and water.
About this tour
Trade busy streets for lake breezes on a Chicago Lakefront Electric Bike Tour, where the city’s glass towers meet open water and green parkland. Follow the Lakefront Trail with a guide and take in Chicago from a fresh perspective as you ride an electric bike along the shore.
The route passes Navy Pier, Buckingham Fountain, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Museum Campus, with time to admire the grounds and the striking contrast between nature and the downtown skyline. Continue along the lakefront to a scenic viewpoint, a memorable spot for photos, then ride over the Chicago River before returning to the starting point. A bicycle, helmet, bottled water, and snacks are provided, so you can focus on the views and the ride. Meet outside the Axis garage and wait there if you arrive early while the group is out on tour. Book your Chicago Lakefront Electric Bike Tour for an easygoing way to see the city’s waterfront landmarks.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.56 from 18 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Chicago
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.6.
