Take the controls on a 30-minute Clearwater Beach jet car rental, with room for one driver and a passenger who rides free.

About this tour

Trade the shoreline for open water on a 30-minute jet car rental near Clearwater Beach. Take the controls, feel the engine respond, and carve across the water with a passenger beside you. Each rental accommodates one driver and one passenger, and the passenger rides free.

Arrive 30 minutes before your booking at the Marriott Suites Sand Key. Enter through the hotel’s main entrance, walk past the outdoor Pool Bar, and find the hut. Bring a government-issued photo ID, and complete the emailed waivers, rental agreement, and any required boater’s license before you arrive. Drivers must be at least 18; operators born on or after January 1, 1988, need a valid Florida boater’s license. Reserve the number of jet cars you want, rather than the number of riders.

Make your Clearwater Beach jet car rental part of a day on the water. Book your ride and get ready to take the helm.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.00 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Clearwater
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
