Explore Clearwater’s islands and sandbars on a private boat tour with time to swim, spot dolphins, and relax at your own pace.

About this tour

Spend five hours exploring Clearwater’s island-fringed waters aboard Salt Therapy, a private charter led by Captain Chris, a U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain with more than 40 years of local experience. With room for up to six guests, this Clearwater Private Island and Wildlife Boat Tour gives your group the freedom to shape the day.

Cruise the Intracoastal Waterway, pause for a swim at a sandbar, or wander a quiet island in search of shells. Keep watch for dolphins racing through the wake, then settle in with your favorite music on the Bluetooth sound system. A cooler with ice and bottled water is ready on board, and you’re welcome to bring beer, wine, or canned drinks. Stops can flex with the weather and your preferences, so the outing can be as active or relaxed as you like.

Meet Captain Chris near the dock gate at the water’s edge in Belleair. This Clearwater Private Island and Wildlife Boat Tour is a laid-back way to trade a fixed itinerary for open water, island time, and a day made for your group. Gather your crew and set out for a local-style Gulf Coast escape.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Clearwater
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3.
