Spend a full day on the Arkansas River, where Bighorn Sheep Canyon pairs whitewater adventure with time to enjoy the Colorado scenery. This family-friendly rafting trip leaves room to take a plunge, play games, watch for wildlife, and make the most of a day outdoors with friends or family.
Your 420-minute experience includes transportation to and from the river, a riverside lunch, safety equipment, and a professional guide. Wetsuits, splash jackets, and river shoes are provided, so you can focus on the water and the canyon around you. The trip is led by Journey Quest, a nonprofit Christ-centered rafting ministry whose guides bring an intentional ministry to the adventure.
Meet at Journey Quest’s Texas Creek location, west of the junction of U.S. Highway 50 and Colorado Highway 69. There is no cell service at the meeting point, and trips from this location are by appointment only.
