Paddle Crystal River’s clear canals, watch sunset over Kings Bay, and switch on your kayak lights to see the springs glow.

About this tour

Watch Crystal River shift from sunset colors to glowing spring water on a guided clear-kayak adventure. In a tandem transparent kayak, paddle through the area’s clear canals with a local guide and take in the underwater scenery beneath you.

The route heads toward the outskirts of Three Sisters Springs, which is closed from November 15 through March 31, then continues through Crystal River’s canal system. Along the way, your guide shares insights about the local ecosystem, and you may spot manatees, turtles, birds, dolphins, or fish. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. The tour then reaches Kings Bay for sunset before continuing to another chain of springs. Turn on your kayak lights and watch the clear water glow around you.

Your tandem kayak, life vest, paddle, and guide are provided. Bring time for check-in: arrive 30 minutes before departure, and plan to pay the $10 parking fee and a per-person marina launch fee separately. Book your Crystal River clear kayak tour for an evening of wildlife watching, sunset views, and illuminated water.

How the score works and rating distribution in Crystal River
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.6. Top 48% in Crystal River means it ranks in the top 48% of tours in Crystal River by this score.
