Paddle Crystal River’s clear waters on a guided kayak tour, with chances to spot manatees and visit Three Sisters Springs when conditions allow.

About this tour

Glide over clear water and watch Crystal River’s underwater world unfold beneath your kayak. On this guided Crystal River clear kayak tour, paddle through a landscape of freshwater springs and keep an eye out for manatees, dolphins, turtles, pelicans, tarpon, and otters.

Your guide leads the eco-tour through the area’s springs, including Three Sisters Springs when conditions allow. High winds can make the route there inaccessible, so the group may explore other nearby springs instead. If the tour is canceled, you can choose to cancel or reschedule. Clear kayaks offer a window into the water as you travel, while a life vest, paddle, and local guide are provided. Please note that swimming is not permitted on this trip.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.57 on Viator and 4.83 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Crystal River
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.0.
