Snorkel with manatees on a guided three-hour tour, with a 5mm wetsuit, heated boat, and warm drinks provided.
About this tour
Meet your crew at the dive shop inside Port Hotel, next to Waterfront Social, then head out for a three-hour manatee snorkel. A USCG captain and licensed, insured dive professional guide the tour, with in-water professionals trained in first aid, CPR, AED use, and in-water rescue. The crew also receives manatee-manners training through the Manatee Eco Tourism Association in coordination with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Get ready with a full 5mm wetsuit and SCUBA equipment, then enjoy the heated boat and complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. The tour is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health, and participants should have a moderate level of physical fitness. Breakfast is not included.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.94 from 17 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Crystal River
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.6. Top 49% in Crystal River means it ranks in the top 49% of tours in Crystal River by this score.
