About this tour
Spend three hours in the water on a private manatee swim tour led by a USCG captain and a licensed, insured dive professional. With snorkeling equipment and a 5 mm Henderson wetsuit provided, you can focus on the experience while your guides help you observe manatees responsibly.
Your in-water professionals have first responder training, including first aid, CPR, AED administration, and in-water rescue. They are also trained in manatee manners through the Manatee Eco Tourism Association in coordination with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This preparation supports a thoughtful experience for both guests and manatees. Coffee or tea is included, and the meeting point is Paddletail Waterfront Lodge, in the two-story white building on the water.
Choose this private manatee swim tour for expert guidance and a closer look at these remarkable animals. Book your outing and get ready to explore the water with care.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 33 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Crystal River
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.4. Top 28% in Crystal River means it ranks in the top 28% of tours in Crystal River by this score.
