Swim with manatees on a three-hour Crystal River tour with an in-water guide, snorkeling gear, and a scenic boat ride.

About this tour

Meet the gentle giants of Florida’s waterways on a Crystal River manatee swim tour, guided by a team with decades of experience. Since 1995, Fun 2 Dive has welcomed visitors for this memorable in-water encounter.

Your three-hour outing begins at the tour facility, where you can check in, get settled, and prepare with the provided mask, snorkel, and wetsuit. Then board a scenic boat ride into the water with a professional captain and an in-water guide who helps you experience the manatees. Small groups keep the outing personal, while an in-water photographer captures the experience. Afterward, browse the facility’s manatee-themed gift shop; photo packages are available to purchase.

The Crystal River manatee swim tour includes free parking and free cancellation. Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure, and bring your bathing suit and towel. Children ages 3 and up can join with a ticket, while children under 3 are welcome on private trips only. Book your Crystal River manatee swim tour and make room for a remarkable wildlife encounter.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.90 from 3,104 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Crystal River
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.4. Top 27% in Crystal River means it ranks in the top 27% of tours in Crystal River by this score.
