Cruise from Destin to Crab Island for three hours among emerald water, food boats, and floating restaurants.

About this tour

Trade the hassle of renting a boat for an easygoing day on the water with a Destin Crab Island Boat Tour. After a quick ride of about five minutes, spend three hours at Crab Island, a popular raised sandbar where boats gather in the warmer months. Its shallow emerald-green water makes a striking setting to relax and enjoy the lively scene.

As you unwind, look out for mobile food boats and floating restaurants serving treats such as ice cream, barbecue, and coconuts. Your captain provides cold bottled water, and you can bring your own beverages, lunch, or snacks in a small cooler. Please leave glass containers behind. Check in one hour before departure at Destin Snorkel Hut on Harbor Boulevard.

A Destin Crab Island Boat Tour offers a simple way to enjoy this local gathering spot without arranging your own boat. Book one reservation for your whole group to help keep everyone together, then settle in for a relaxed stretch on the water.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.50 from 34 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Destin
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.2.
