Cruise Destin Harbor and East Pass aboard the Hydrojet, watching for dolphins and other marine life on a lively sunset ride.

About this tour

Set out from Destin Harbor as the sun lowers over the water, then feel the Hydrojet gather speed toward East Pass and the Gulf. This 60-minute Destin dolphin and sunset cruise pairs harbor views with an open-water search for local marine life.

As the boat travels east along the beach, the crew keeps watch for dolphins, sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, manatees, and whales. When wildlife appears, the boat pauses so you can take photos and videos. Choppy conditions may bring wave jumping and splashes, so bring sunglasses and be ready for a lively ride. Sightings are not guaranteed.

Arrive 30 minutes early to check in at the bright green kiosk behind the brick building near the Heron Harbor sign, between Happy’s Watersports and Boat House Oyster Bar. Children ages 0–4 cannot ride; 5-year-olds must be at least 42 inches tall. Book your Destin dolphin and sunset cruise for a spirited evening on the water.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.70 on Viator and 5.00 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Destin
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.7.
