Cruise into a Destin sunset, watch for dolphins, and return through the harbor as its lights begin to glow.

About this tour

Watch the sun sink over the water on a Destin Sunset Cruise, then take in the harbor’s lights as evening settles in. This 90-minute outing pairs open-water views with a relaxed ride back through Destin Harbor.

A licensed captain leads the cruise, with fuel and insurance included. Keep an eye out for dolphins along the way, and enjoy a pretzel snack on board. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, and special occasions are welcome. The experience is for passengers age 21 and older, while children and infants also count toward the six-passenger limit and need their own tickets. Children under 7 must wear a life jacket while the boat is moving; life jackets are not provided.

Meet at East Dock near The Edge restaurant and Beignets & Brew, beneath the yellow umbrellas. Settle in for sunset colors, a chance to spot dolphins, and the glow of Destin Harbor on the return. Book your Destin Sunset Cruise for an easygoing evening on the water.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.89 from 179 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Destin
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.1. Top 17% in Destin means it ranks in the top 17% of tours in Destin by this score.
