About this tour

Set out from Estes Park as daylight fades and the mountains catch the last warm glow. This four-hour 4x4 sunset tour ventures into Roosevelt National Forest, where a private 360-degree viewing and photo tower offers a sweeping place to take in the evening sky.

The open-top custom vehicle brings you close to the forest scenery, with stadium seating for the ride. At the tower, settle in around an open fire and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. Dinner, snacks, bottled water, blankets, and wet-weather gear are provided. As night falls, climb back aboard for a memorable ride through the dark. The vehicle is open to the elements, so bring warm layers; rain protection is available.

This Estes Park 4x4 sunset tour pairs an off-road outing with an easygoing fireside stop, making room for both mountain views and family time. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 89 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Estes Park
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.1. Top 9% in Estes Park means it ranks in the top 9% of tours in Estes Park by this score.
