About this tour
Settle into a warm Fairbanks evening with a dark northern sky just outside the door. At this aurora viewing venue, move between the indoor lounge and outdoor fire-pit seating throughout the 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM window. Come and go as you please, warming up inside while you wait for a chance to see the lights.
A local guide is on hand for questions and camera assistance, and an aurora presentation explains the science behind the display. Complimentary coffee, tea, water, and hot chocolate help keep you comfortable, while billiards, shuffleboard, board games, and card games offer ways to pass the time. Digital portraits with the aurora are also included. The venue is about 15 minutes from Fairbanks, and transportation is not provided, so plan your own way there and dress warmly for time outdoors.
Aurora sightings are never guaranteed, but the lounge, fire, and open-sky setting make the evening inviting either way. Make this Fairbanks aurora viewing venue your place to pause, look up, and enjoy the northern night.

How this score is calculated
This tour scores 4.00 on GetYourGuide (Viator shows no usable rating). Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.
How the score works and rating distribution in Fairbanks
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
