Walk downtown Flagstaff after dark on an adults-only ghost tour featuring eerie local history, gallows humor, and a true-crime story.

About this tour

After dark, downtown Flagstaff’s mountain-town charm takes on a darker edge. This adults-only Flagstaff Ghost Walking Tour pairs original local research with eerie history, gallows humor, and stories told without the need to keep things PG-13.

Follow your guide on a 1-mile walk through downtown, hearing about the city’s haunted past and stopping outside historic sites rather than entering them. The evening also features a true-crime story about a 1980s murder trial that took an unexpected turn. Your guide brings the tales to life with an experienced, knowledgeable, and eccentric style.

The 90-minute tour meets in the center of the parking lot shared by Wheeler Park and City Hall, near the parking meter kiosk. With its darker storytelling and distinctive local perspective, this Flagstaff Ghost Walking Tour offers a memorable way to spend an evening in town. Join the walk and see what lingers in Flagstaff’s streets after sunset.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.70 on Viator and 5.00 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Flagstaff
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.7.
