Sail the Lowcountry on a private Folly Beach catamaran, with dolphin sightings, naturalist insights, and space to relax.

About this tour

See the Lowcountry from the water on a private Folly Beach catamaran sail. Settle into a bean bag or bench seat as the boat glides across a scenic natural setting known for year-round dolphin sightings.

Your trained naturalist guide can answer questions about local wildlife and ecology while you enjoy the views. The route also passes familiar filming locations from Outer Banks. Bring your favorite drinks for the iced cooler, and connect to the Bluetooth speaker to set the mood with your own playlist. The two-hour sail is offered during the day or at sunset, giving you time to unwind and take in the coastal scenery.

Meet at the docks on Center Street in Charleston. Parking is limited, so arrive early and use a short car space rather than an elongated trailer space. Book your private Folly Beach sail and enjoy a relaxed outing on the water.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Folly Beach
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3.
