Cruise Fort Lauderdale’s waterways past grand estates and mega-yachts, then enjoy an Atlantic speedboat ride when weather permits.

About this tour

See why Fort Lauderdale is called the Venice of America on a 60-minute sightseeing cruise that pairs calm waterways with an exhilarating ride. From C Dock at Bahia Mar Marina, board the Sea Rocket and glide along the Intracoastal Waterway and New River, where multimillion-dollar homes and towering mega-yachts line the shore.

Your captain shares stories about local history and wildlife as the downtown skyline comes into view. Weather permitting, the cruise heads out to the Atlantic for a fast stretch along Fort Lauderdale Beach. The 65-foot speedboat offers comfortable seating, onboard restrooms, and a full bar where drinks are available for purchase. The mix of relaxed sightseeing and open-water speed makes this Fort Lauderdale Sightseeing Cruise a lively way to take in the city from the water.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.75 from 4 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Fort Lauderdale
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.8.
