Cruise Fort Lauderdale’s New River, enjoy an all-you-can-eat barbecue dinner on a tropical island, and watch a lively Polynesian show.
About this tour
See Fort Lauderdale from the water, then step ashore for dinner and island entertainment on the Jungle Queen. This 4-hour Fort Lauderdale sightseeing cruise follows the New River, known as the “Venice of America,” with narrated views of waterfront mansions, mega yachts, and historic sights.
The boat takes you to a private tropical island, where an all-you-can-eat barbecue dinner features ribs, chicken tenders, cornbread, coleslaw, waffle fries, and vegetarian baked beans. Take time to explore the island and see exotic animals before settling in for live music and a family-friendly Polynesian show, complete with a fire dance. The experience ends with a relaxing nighttime cruise back along the river.
With onboard restrooms and a narrated route, the Jungle Queen brings sightseeing, dinner, and live entertainment together in one evening. Arrive at the dock 45 minutes before sailing, and enjoy a classic Fort Lauderdale outing from river views to island showtime.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.23 from 1,387 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Fort Lauderdale
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 3.3.
