Cruise Estero Bay at sunset, watching for dolphins, manatees, and birds on a relaxed 90-minute trip from Fort Myers Beach.

About this tour

As the sun sinks over Estero Bay, Fort Myers Beach grows quieter and the water takes on the warm colors of dusk. This 90-minute sunset cruise offers a relaxed way to enjoy the coast and look for its wildlife.

Depart about an hour before sunset and return at dusk. Keep watch for playful dolphins, and you may spot manatees in their natural habitat. Birds fill the skies and line the shores, making the cruise a treat for wildlife watchers as well as anyone seeking a peaceful evening on the water. There is a restroom on board, and you can bring your favorite drinks to enjoy as you cruise.

The experience is led by a Fort Myers Beach local and former biologist. Meet at Snook Bight Marina, behind the Publix grocery store, near the large dolphin statue by the dock. Park by Fresh Catch Bistro and arrive 15 minutes before departure. Children under 7 are not permitted. Book your Fort Myers Beach sunset cruise and take in Estero Bay at its most serene.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.96 from 24 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Fort Myers
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.9. Top 31% in Fort Myers means it ranks in the top 31% of tours in Fort Myers by this score.
