Explore Sanibel and Captiva on a fitted pedal-assist eBike, with local route tips, trail maps, safety gear, and on-island support.

About this tour

Explore Sanibel and Captiva at an easy pace on a fitted pedal-assist eBike. With miles of paved trails linking island scenery, beaches, and wildlife refuges, a ride offers a relaxed way to see more of the coast and pause wherever the view catches your eye.

Your rental includes a Trek Electra Class 1 eBike, available as a single-speed Shibori Cruiser or 7-speed Townie Go!, fitted to your size. Before setting off, get an eBike orientation, local route recommendations, and a trail map with suggested itineraries. A helmet, lock, basket, backpack, phone holder, drink cage, and safety equipment are provided, along with water and free refills at the shop. If a mechanical issue interrupts your ride, on-island support can bring a replacement bike.

Class 1 assist works only while you pedal. Riders must be 18 or older, 4'11" to 6'5" tall, and 275 lbs or less; the ride is not recommended during pregnancy. Choose Sanibel and Captiva Island eBike Rentals for a flexible way to explore, with local guidance and practical gear ready for the road.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Fort Myers
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2.
