Photograph Yellowstone’s wildlife and dramatic landscapes with a naturalist guide, quality optics, and a route shaped by your interests.
About this tour
Explore Yellowstone through your camera lens on a wildlife photography adventure led by an experienced naturalist photographer. The park’s varied habitats, steaming geysers, and hot springs create a striking backdrop for images of wildlife and wide-open scenery.
Your guide will seek out habitats frequented by wolves, bears, bison, and other species, with the day’s route shaped around your photographic interests. Possible settings include Lamar and Hayden Valleys, Norris Geyser Basin, and the landscapes around Yellowstone Lake. Much of the time is spent in the softer light of early or late hours, when predators are often more active and natural behavior may unfold. Binoculars and spotting scopes help you scan the landscape, while transportation, snacks, hot drinks, breakfast pastries, and a made-to-order sandwich keep you comfortable along the way.
Bring your curiosity and camera, and discover Yellowstone Photography Adventure at your own pace with a knowledgeable local guide. Guests 16 and older need a park entrance pass, which should be purchased online before the tour.

How this score is calculated
This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.
How the score works
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
