Blend a custom fragrance, pipe whipped-wax swirls, and take home a dessert-inspired candle from this beginner-friendly Houston workshop.

About this tour

Create a candle that looks as sweet as it smells in Houston. At Studio 786, this hands-on Houston Dessert Candle Workshop invites you to choose a vessel and blend a custom fragrance before shaping your own scented candle.

With step-by-step guidance, pipe whipped-wax swirls and finish your design with decorative wax toppings. Designs and available decorations may vary, and every topping is made of wax, not food. The workshop is beginner-friendly, so you can enjoy the creative process without prior candle-making or piping experience. Materials, a protective apron, and access to studio photo areas are provided, and you’ll leave with your handmade candle.

Make it a creative outing with friends, a date, or a birthday activity, and capture your finished design in the studio. Food and drinks are not included. Book your Houston Dessert Candle Workshop and make a sweet-looking keepsake with a fragrance all your own.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: GetYourGuide doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
