Explore Islamorada’s mangrove channels on a private four-hour boat tour, with a USCG-licensed captain and wildlife-spotting opportunities.

About this tour

Set out from Islamorada for a private boat adventure through the Florida Keys’ mangrove islands and channels. With a knowledgeable, USCG-licensed captain at the helm, this four-hour trip offers a close-up look at the waterways and wildlife of the area.

Cruise through sheltered mangrove passages in search of dolphins, manatees, crocodiles, nesting birds, and other native wildlife. Islamorada’s location near the lower end of the Keys gives the boat quick access to the mangroves and the ocean. Snorkeling equipment is provided, and water is served from a jug with cups to help reduce plastic use. The tour is also pet-friendly.

Meet at Robbie’s Marina, mile marker 77.5 on the bayside, and enjoy a private outing shaped by the captain’s local knowledge. Book your Islamorada Private Boat Tour for a memorable day on the water.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 26 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Islamorada
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.2. Top 8% in Islamorada means it ranks in the top 8% of tours in Islamorada by this score.
