Drive your own CraigCat on a guided Fernandina Beach tour, with chances to spot dolphins, manatees, wild horses, and local birds.
About this tour
Take the helm of a CraigCat and skim across the waterways around Amelia Island on a guided Fernandina Beach CraigCat Boat Tour. These compact, go-kart-like boats put you in the driver’s seat while a guide leads the way through the surrounding waters.
The 150-minute outing offers a chance to spot dolphins, manatees, wild horses, and birds native to the area. Wildlife sightings depend on conditions, and bumpy water can bring a splash, so be ready for an active ride. Bottled water is included. Drivers must be at least 18 years old, and those born after January 1, 1988, must complete Florida Boater Safety. All participants must weigh under 250 lb; the tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with spinal injuries.
Meet at the marina at 251 Creekside Drive in Fernandina Beach, then head to Dock E, the first dock on the left beside the restrooms. Book your Fernandina Beach CraigCat Boat Tour for a hands-on way to explore Amelia Island’s waterways.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.95 from 413 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Jacksonville
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.0. Top 5% in Jacksonville means it ranks in the top 5% of tours in Jacksonville by this score.
