Kauai Luau Dinner and Show

Experience a Hawaiian evening where storytelling, food, and fire share the spotlight at Luau Kalamaku on Kauai. The show is performed in the round, giving guests views of the stage from every side.

Your visit includes a lei greeting, a buffet dinner featuring local Hawaiian favorites, and an open bar until the main show begins. The evening’s theatrical performance follows the legend of Kalamaku, the “child of the new land,” through a tale of laughter, fear, seduction, and fire. Watch the story build to a finale with fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing. The experience also features the unearthing of a pig from an imu, a traditional underground oven, and a hula lesson. A craft fair with items by local artisans takes place on the sprawling lawn.

Luau Kalamaku has welcomed guests since 2007. Make room in your Kauai plans for a lively celebration of Hawaiian food, culture, and performance.
