About this tour
Turn Kauai’s shoreline into the setting for playful, surreal portraits. On this 60-minute Kauai Wave Photography session, a local photographer helps you create distinctive images against the island’s beautiful beaches and rolling surf.
Meet beside the lifeguard stand, then follow your photographer’s instructions. The exact beach or location depends on the weather and the group’s abilities, with local knowledge helping guide the choice. Your session includes 10 edited, high-resolution digital photos, so you can take home polished images of your time on the Garden Isle. How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 5 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Kauai
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.4. Top 43% in Kauai means it ranks in the top 43% of tours in Kauai by this score.
