Explore Islamorada’s mangroves, seagrass flats, and reef on a guided Florida Keys Eco Tour with lunch and round-trip transportation.
About this tour
Discover the Florida Keys’ marine life on a full-day Florida Keys Eco Tour from the Miami or Fort Lauderdale area to Islamorada. With round-trip transportation and a naturalist or marine biologist as your guide, you can explore the region’s varied habitats by water and by boat.
Paddle a kayak or stand-up paddleboard through an old-growth mangrove forest and across seagrass flats, watching for manatees, nurse sharks, stingrays, fish, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, head by boat to a reef in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary for guided snorkeling. The reef may reveal sea turtles, dolphins, sharks, eels, spotted eagle rays, and barracudas. Lunch, drinks, snacks, sunscreen, and activity equipment are provided, with vegan and vegetarian options available.
This smaller-group outing offers a close-up look at the ecosystems that make the Keys distinctive. Book your Florida Keys Eco Tour and spend the day discovering the region from the water.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 12 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Key Largo
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.7. Top 24% in Key Largo means it ranks in the top 24% of tours in Key Largo by this score.
