Snorkel two sites at Key Largo’s Molasses Reef, with gear included and a crew briefing before you explore its coral landscape.

About this tour

Discover Molasses Reef on a Key Largo snorkeling adventure through one of the Florida Keys’ best-known reef systems. Its spur-and-groove coral formations span more than 25 snorkel and dive sites, creating a vivid underwater landscape to explore.

Because the boat also carries certified divers, the trip visits two sites rather than one. The captain selects locations with depth and marine life, away from the shallow sandy areas closer to shore. Before you enter the water, the crew provides a full briefing, and a mask, snorkel, and fins are included. No snorkeling experience is needed, but you must be able to swim.

Arrive at Scuba-Fun Dive Center in Key Largo 60 minutes before departure; free parking is available on-site. Set out to see the reef from the water and experience why Molasses Reef is a standout destination for snorkeling in the Florida Keys.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 2.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Key Largo
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
