About this tour
Trade the Las Vegas bustle for a half day on the Colorado River, where emerald water winds beneath the dramatic cliffs of Black Canyon. This Willow Beach Emerald Cave Kayaking Tour pairs striking desert scenery with friendly instruction and plenty of time to explore.
Launch from Kayak Beach and paddle with a guide toward Emerald Cave and Emerald Cove. Along the way, take in towering canyon walls, look for wildlife on the shoreline and cliffs, and enjoy optional short hikes and beach stops as described by the provider. The route also passes the historic Gauger House foundation. Beginners can get comfortable with a simple lesson before setting out, then receive coaching on the water from a wilderness first aid- and CPR-certified guide.
Your kayak, safety gear, cold water, and light snacks are provided, along with more than 300 photos and videos of the adventure. The tour starts and ends at Willow Beach, so plan to drive yourself; parking costs $25 per car unless you have an America the Beautiful National Park Pass. How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.66 from 62 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Kingman
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 28% in Kingman means it ranks in the top 28% of tours in Kingman by this score.
