Paddle to three caves, hidden inlets, and a secluded beach on a relaxed six-hour Emerald Cave kayak tour through Black Canyon.

About this tour

Paddle deeper into Black Canyon on a full-day Emerald Cave kayak tour that gives you more time to explore than a typical outing. With a certified guide leading the way, discover Emerald, Echo, and Lover’s Caves, then follow hidden inlets and quieter stretches of the canyon at an unhurried pace.

Along the route, keep an eye out for bighorn sheep and bald eagles. Take a break at a secluded sandy beach to swim or relax, and opt for a short hike into a slot canyon for panoramic views. Your guide captures photos and videos along the way, so you can focus on the scenery and the experience. Single and double sit-on-top kayaks are available; choose your preference when booking. Snacks, juice, cold bottled water, and a certified guide are included.

This Emerald Cave kayak tour meets at Paddle Craft/Kayak Beach, not the boat ramp. Transportation and National Park vehicle admission are not included. Set aside six hours for a deeper, more relaxed look at Black Canyon and its caves.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 9 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Las Vegas
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.6. Top 26% in Las Vegas means it ranks in the top 26% of tours in Las Vegas by this score.
