Take the controls of a Cat 320 excavator, crush scrapped cars, and explore the power of heavy machinery at Adrenaline Mountain.

About this tour

Take the controls of a powerful Cat 320 excavator and discover the thrill of moving metal with Las Vegas excavator experience Smash and Grab at Adrenaline Mountain. With a guide directing you through a wireless headset, you’ll learn how to operate the machine as you crush pieces of scrapped cars, lift them, drop them, and drive the shovel into the earth.

The experience lasts 210 minutes, giving you time to feel the excavator’s strength under your hands. After your time in the desert, unwind in the guest lounge, where amenities include real restrooms, climate-controlled buildings, complimentary chilled bottled water, coffee, hot chocolate, Wi-Fi, cell phone charging stations, and satellite TV. Snacks are available for purchase.

Plan your route with the Waze app rather than Google Maps; the drive includes a 4-mile dirt road. If you prefer not to drive it, request pickup from Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings when booking. Book your Las Vegas excavator experience and get ready to take the controls.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Las Vegas
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3. Top 37% in Las Vegas means it ranks in the top 37% of tours in Las Vegas by this score.
