London Animal Stories Tour

London’s animals have shaped the city’s stories, landmarks, and green spaces for centuries. On this 3-hour London Animal Stories Tour, follow the clues they left behind, from Trafalgar Square’s famous lions to tales of a mole that changed royal lives.

As you explore the heart of London with a professional guide, hear how animals figured in the city’s World War II history and discover the flora and fauna found along the way. The tour also traces changing attitudes toward animals, reaching back to the 12th century, when King Edward III restricted the wearing of fur by members of the royal family and the clergy. It’s an unusual way to see familiar places through a fresh lens, with stories that connect wildlife, history, and London’s streets.

Join the London Animal Stories Tour to uncover the creatures and legends hiding in plain sight across the capital.
