Trace the Beatles’ London story on a self-guided audio tour through Soho and Mayfair, from Piccadilly Circus to a landmark concert site.

About this tour

Follow the Beatles’ story through the Soho streets and Mayfair addresses where their London legend took shape. This self-guided London Beatles Audio Tour begins outside the Criterion Theatre at Piccadilly Circus, near the London Pavilion, where the band’s films premiered in the 1960s.

Use the GPS audio guide to explore at your own pace, winding through Soho’s narrow lanes and past the alleyway seen in a famous 1963 photograph. Along the way, discover the studios where Hey Jude was recorded, pass Paul McCartney’s London headquarters, and hear how manager Brian Epstein helped turn four young musicians from Merseyside into global stars. The route ends near the site of the Beatles’ final public concert in 1969, a performance that brought Mayfair traffic to a standstill.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
