Connect Bible stories with paintings by da Vinci, Rembrandt, and Caravaggio on a guided visit to London’s National Gallery.
About this tour
See the Bible take shape on canvas during a guided visit to London’s National Gallery. This tour brings scripture into view through celebrated paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, and Caravaggio, connecting each work to the story and history behind it.
Stand before artworks dating mostly from the 1500s to the 1800s as your guide links Bible passages to the scenes before you. A timeline helps place events in historical context, while the focus stays on the biblical narrative rather than artistic technique. You’ll also receive a Google Doc of relevant passages, and portable folding stools are available upon request. The experience offers a thoughtful way to explore the collection and see familiar stories from a fresh perspective.
Book your London Bible art tour and discover how master painters brought scripture to life. Remember to reserve a free National Gallery entry ticket for any time before your visit.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 29 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in London
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.3. Top 10% in London means it ranks in the top 10% of tours in London by this score.
