About this tour

Discover the stories and quiet corners of two of London’s most famous Royal Parks on a self-guided audio walk. This London Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens Audio Tour lets you explore at your own pace, with a local perspective on places and details many visitors pass by.

Hear how more than 600 acres of parkland came to occupy such a valuable part of the city. Visit Speakers’ Corner, where lively public speaking has long drawn a crowd, then wander to the Serpentine Lake to watch the swans. Along the way, find memorials to Diana, Princess of Wales, including a fountain and playground, and take in a grand view of Kensington Palace. The audio also shares tips for spotting birds in Kensington Gardens and points out a 900-year-old oak tree, along with the little elves said to hide within it.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.33 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in London
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
