See Oh, Mary!, Cole Escola’s Tony-winning dark comedy that reimagines Mary Todd Lincoln’s private dreams in an 80-minute London performance.

About this tour

See Oh, Mary!, an uproariously dark comedy that turns the spotlight on Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks before Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. This 80-minute one-act play imagines a miserable, suffocated Mary wrestling with unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires, while revealing the dreams behind the history books.

Written by Cole Escola, the play has been called “one of the best comedies in years” by The New York Times. It received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play for Escola and Best Direction of a Play for Sam Pinkleton. Cole Escola reprises their Tony Award-winning performance for eight weeks, followed by Mason Alexander Park from January 26. Your ticket gives you a seat for this acclaimed London theatre performance. Book Oh, Mary! and discover a wildly irreverent take on a familiar chapter of history.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.22 from 18 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in London
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.1.
