Glide across Echo Park Lake in an LED-lit swan boat, with skyline views and a relaxed evening on the water in Los Angeles.

About this tour

See Los Angeles from the water on a swan boat night ride at Echo Park Lake. As the city lights begin to glow, climb aboard a novelty boat trimmed with LEDs and pedal out across the calm lake for skyline views and an easygoing evening outdoors.

Choose a departure time that suits your plans, then meet at Wheel Fun Rentals on the Echo Park Lake dock. Before setting off, you’ll receive instructions on operating the boat and a US Coast Guard-approved life vest. Once underway, pedal at your own pace, settle into the roomy back seat, or bring a picnic to enjoy on board. The centrally located lake makes this a relaxed way to spend time near downtown Los Angeles.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.50 from 170 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Los Angeles
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.2.
