See virtual production in action at a Los Angeles film studio, with an interactive demo, expert insights, and time for questions.

About this tour

Step inside a working film studio and see how virtual production brings digital worlds into the camera. This Los Angeles Virtual Production Studio Tour takes place at Sutliff Studios in the Arts District, where you’ll explore the history of in-camera visual effects and rear projection.

The experience begins with a one-hour workshop and interactive demonstration. Watch virtual elements combine with physical assets on an LED wall, and learn how the technology shapes what filmmakers capture in-camera. A studio guide, virtual production technician, LED wall operator, and Unreal Engine operator bring the process to life and explain the tools behind the images. The final 30 minutes are set aside for questions and discussion about the demo and the technical side of virtual production.

Meet at 2035 Bay St and contact the emergency phone number on arrival for entry. Transportation and refreshments are not included, and recording is not permitted. Book this Los Angeles Virtual Production Studio Tour to get a closer look at the craft and technology behind modern filmmaking.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: GetYourGuide doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
