Explore the Everglades on a private airboat tour, with a one-hour ride, local guide, and transportation in a Chevrolet Suburban.

About this tour

Set out into the Everglades for a private airboat adventure across South Florida’s famous River of Grass. This four-hour experience pairs a one-hour airboat ride with transportation in a Chevrolet Suburban and insight from a local driver-guide.

Glide through the wetlands and visit wildlife areas, taking in the region’s untamed landscapes and looking for native animals along the way. A bottle of water is provided, and the private format offers a more personal way to explore this distinctive ecosystem. The tour is suitable for a range of fitness levels, though it is not recommended for pregnant travelers. Food is not included.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Miami
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 41% in Miami means it ranks in the top 41% of tours in Miami by this score.
