Ride deep into the Everglades on a 60-minute semi-private airboat tour, with a certified captain and wildlife in its natural habitat.

About this tour

Discover the Everglades on a small-group airboat ride designed to travel deep into the River of Grass. This 60-minute Miami Everglades Airboat Tour takes you beyond the busy tourist stops and into the region’s natural habitat, where native flora and fauna thrive.

Your certified captain leads the semi-private outing and shares the experience in English. A lightweight noise-canceling headset helps you hear over the airboat, while beverages, rain gear, and safety goggles are provided. Rather than visiting wildlife shows or seeing animals in cages, you’ll explore the Everglades in its natural setting. Free parking is available near the meeting point.

Arrive 10 minutes early at the second boat launch on the east end and look for the green River of Grass Airboat Tours sign. Choose this Miami Everglades Airboat Tour for a closer look at the wetlands and a more personal ride through this remarkable landscape.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.97 from 159 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Miami
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.1. Top 3% in Miami means it ranks in the top 3% of tours in Miami by this score.
