Ride an airboat through the Everglades, watch for native wildlife, and travel from Miami with round-trip bus transfers.

About this tour

Trade Miami’s city streets for the open wetlands on a Miami Everglades Airboat Tour with bus transfer. After a ride from Miami Beach or Downtown, depending on your selected option, climb aboard for a one-hour journey through the Florida Everglades in Broward County.

Skim across the swampland and keep watch for alligators, turtles, birds, and snakes. An area expert shares insights into alligator behavior, diet, and reproduction, and explains how these animals fit into the Everglades ecosystem. The experience also includes an exhibit, adding another way to learn about this distinctive landscape and its wildlife.

Round-trip air-conditioned bus transfers make the trip easy to arrange from the available Miami pickup options. Nature is unpredictable, so sightings are not guaranteed, and busy-season airboat waits or traffic can affect your return time. Leave room in your schedule, then set out to discover the Everglades on a Miami Everglades Airboat Tour.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.24 on Viator and 4.29 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Miami
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.4.
