Ride an airboat through the Everglades, watch a live wildlife show, and explore park exhibits on a trip from Miami.

About this tour

Trade Miami’s city streets for the wide, wild waterways of the Everglades. This Miami Everglades airboat tour pairs a ride across the River of Grass with time to explore park exhibits and watch a live wildlife presentation.

Travel from Miami to the park by bus, then climb aboard for a narrated airboat ride of about 40 minutes. Keep watch for alligators in their natural habitat, though sightings are not guaranteed. A live presentation with professional handlers offers a closer look at alligators, followed by free time to wander the exhibits at your own pace. The transfer takes about 50–60 minutes each way, and the listed tour duration is 5–9 hours depending on the option selected.

Want to make a day of it? Selected options add a Miami sightseeing bus tour and a Biscayne Bay cruise past waterfront homes. How this score is calculated

This tour scores 3.15 on Viator and 3.53 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Miami
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 1.4.
