Hear true ghost stories, explore three historic Mystic pubs, and sample three included beers on this rain-or-shine walking tour.
About this tour
Follow the ghost stories of Mystic’s Water Street from one storied pub to the next on the Mystic Paranormal Pub Crawl. A storyteller guide brings the port town’s shadowy past to life with true paranormal tales and dark local history, while three included beers add a spirited taste of the neighborhood.
Walk less than half a mile and visit three local pubs and breweries, including Bank & Bridge Brew Pub, Friar Tucks Tavern, and the historic Captain Daniel Packer Inne. Stops include indoor and outdoor settings, with local brews to sample along the way. Tax and gratuity are included, and a voice-amplifying guide helps share the stories as the group explores.
The Mystic Paranormal Pub Crawl runs rain or shine. Meet at the corner of West Main and Water streets, near the Whale and Bank Square buildings, and bring comfortable shoes and valid ID. Participants must be 21 or older. Come ready for a lively walk through Mystic’s haunted history, one tale and one pint at a time.

How this score is calculated
This tour scores 5.00 on Viator and 4.64 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.
How the score works and rating distribution in Mystic
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5.
