About this tour
See Nantucket’s history unfold on a narrated island tour, from the striking Sankaty Lighthouse to the rose-covered cottages of Siasconset. This 90-minute ride offers an easy way to take in landmarks and get your bearings for the rest of your visit.
Travel by bus or van with a live guide, stopping for photos at scenic points along the way. Explore Siasconset, a fishing village dating to the 17th century, and see the Old Mill, described as the oldest operational windmill in the United States. The route also passes historic lighthouses, the old railroad, and notable early homes. Ask your guide questions as the island’s stories and scenery come into view.
Nantucket Historical Landmarks Bus Tour is a relaxed introduction to the island, with transportation and photo stops included. Summer traffic can add time, so leave room in your schedule before lunch or other plans. Confirm your meeting location on the day of the tour, then settle in and discover Nantucket from the road.

How this score is calculated
This tour scores 4.76 on Viator and 5.00 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.
How the score works and rating distribution in Nantucket
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
